Defining and staging procedures like cystoscopy, rectoscopy, irigography, fibrocolonoscopy, x-ray, computed tomography, bone scintigraphy.
MEDICAL ACTIVITY:
The medical activity of the Medical Oncology Department starts only after a decision of the General Committee of the Oncology Clinic and the Chemotherapy Committee has been taken. All patients are issued individual treatment plans corresponding to their stage, morphological type, accompanying diseases and general condition.
THE PATIENTS AT THE MEDICAL ONCOLOGY DEPARTMENT ARE SERVICED AFTER:
- Clinical service path № 298 – systematic drug therapy of solid tumours of people under 18 years of age for a minimum of 3 (three) days of hospitalisation.
- Clinical service procedure № 05 – systematic drug therapy of malignant diseases – up to 12 hours.
- Clinical service procedure № 07 – for patients with targeted oral antitumour therapy and oral chemotherapy.
- Monitoring and treatment of side effects of antitumour drugs.
- Evaluation of the antitumour effect after the applied therapy.
- Prescription of post-hospitalisation scheme of treatment and monitoring.
- Medical report for the patient’s working capacity.
