This department has 54 beds 12 of which are for daily in-patients. The Radiology Department with daily in-patient rooms provides diagnostic specification, staging and therapy of patients with oncological and non-oncological diseases who are prescribed radiological therapy.
We work with the National Health Insurance Fund on clinical service paths No 255, 257.
This department has:
- A room with telegamma therapy equipment LUCH-1 where percutaneous radiotherapy is performed with ionized radiation sources 60Co and distance from the surface of the patient 60 to 80 cm. There is a command room where the command table for the machine control is situated. There is also a waiting room for the patients.
- A room supplied with x-ray therapy equipment THX – 250 where deep or semi-deep percutaneous radiotherapy is performed at a distance from the surface of the patient 30 to 40 cm. There is a command room where the command table for the machine control is. There is also a waiting room for the patients.
- A room supplied with x-ray therapy equipment Multivolt – 250 where deep or semi-deep percutaneous radiotherapy is performed at a distance from the surface of the patient 30 to 40 cm. There is a command room where the command table for the machine control is. There is also a waiting room for the patients.
- A room supplied with x-ray therapy equipment TUR – 60 where percutaneous highly focused x-ray therapy is performed at a distance from the surface of the patient 3 to 5 cm. There is a command room where the command table for the machine control is. There is also a waiting room for the patients.
- Clinical dosimetry – individual dosimetric plans are prepared for the patients treated at the Radiology Department with a daily in-patient room.
